This position is responsible for managing the accounting, payroll, banking, financial reporting, and audit functions, and contributing to the strategic leadership and continuous improvement of company operations.

SUCCESS PROFILE:
- First 30 days – Meet our people, understand our systems and capabilities. Take on the role of Accounting Manager.
- First 60 days – Complete a gap analysis of our accounting system; prioritize and implement improvements. Develop and communicate the monthly financial story.
- First 90 days – Prepare the quarterly business forecast and present to the Board of Directors.
- First 6 months – Improve our accounting processes. Participate in our strategic planning process.
- First 12 months – Lead financial annual review and compliance audits.
- Ongoing – Meet mutually agreed upon goals, improving our business. Mentor/coach and develop staff.
OTHER:
- Seven to 10 years of previous experience in accounting and/or finance is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA preferred.
- This role requires strong initiative, excellent communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office a must.
- Cost Accounting knowledge/experience preferred.
- Experience with Quick Books in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to influence is a must.
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
