Accounting Intern

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• This early career position is responsible for assisting Accounting and Audit functions of the Casino/Racing Finance Department.
• Preparation of journal entries.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Gaming tax calculations, payments, and journal entries.
• Assist Audit team with daily functions.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Must be in school for accounting.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees. #oceandowns
