Responsibilities:
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping principles to record financial transactions
- Prepare and process journal entries for various accounts
- Assist with credit analysis and collections for accounts receivable
- Handle accounts payable duties, including invoice processing and payment disbursement
- Conduct general ledger accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance
- Perform math calculations to verify the accuracy of financial data
Experience:
- Previous experience in accounting or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
