We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Associate extremely proficient with accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), reconciliations, invoicing, and preparing reports. Must have excellent skills in Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bill.com.

Core Responsibilities for our Accounting Associate:

• Establish and maintain records of financial transactions, ensuring legal compliance.
• Develop a system to account for financial transactions, including a chart of accounts and defined bookkeeping policies.
• Verify, allocate, and post transactions in subsidiary accounts.
• Reconcile entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
• Management and maintenance of timesheets.

Skills and Experience Needed for the Accounting Associate:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping.
• Experience with Bill.com.
• Experience in client-interfacing.
• Excellent people and listening skills.
• Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and prioritize effectively.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
