Accounting Associate (Watervliet, NY) sought by an Upstate NY-based co. Duties incl reconciling credit cards & bank statements monthly to ensure accuracy & identify discrepancies; processing subcontractors' bills weekly, ensuring timely & accurate payments; reconciling AP & AR by processing invoices, tracking payments, & managing customer/vendor accts; monitoring cash flow, incl tracking expenses & managing petty cash; manage payroll using ADP; prep monthly fin'l statements; file sales tax monthly & assist in prep'g for fin'l audit & tax filings. Must have Bach's deg in Acctg or Finance, 1-yr. exp on the job offered or 1-yr. related exp. as bookkeeper reqd. Must be proficient in MS Word & Excel. Salary $49566/yr.
