Job Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Associate, you will support the Accounting Department by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in nearly all functional areas and transactions.
- Accounts Payable: Process and organize invoices to ensure invoices are paid and received timely
- Accounts Receivable: Manage cash application, ensure all cash receipts are applied properly
- Assist in updating current process
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding payments/invoices to vendors
- Collections: Assure timely collection of monies due, when applicable
Qualifications
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information
- Microsoft Office (Strong Excel)
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed and deadline-oriented
- Strong computer skills
- Technical knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
- 2-3 years of previous experience in an accounting or finance position
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (High School Diploma required)
