Position Summary
To ensure accurate and current pricing information is maintained in both internal and external systems and timely performance of general corporate accounting functions.
Essential Functions
- Supports a company-wide collaborative approach to business through closely working with the Accounting and Sales teams and fulfilling their needs to Sell, Market and Execute.
- Organize system pricing in such a way as to promote ease of updating, transparency and understanding.
- Manages and maintains all pricing and product information (e.g. pricing, special promotions) within the company's database, the retailer's database and any other systems according to established company standards; ensures accuracy and reliability of database information.
- Accurately records requests for price overrides; reviews price exception report with Director of Revenue Management and distributes to appropriate individuals; follows-up on price overrides and determines appropriate action.
- Completes chain pricing reports, pricing sheets, pricing letters and other required paperwork according to established standards.
- Assists Accounts Receivable/Sales with invoice reconciliation to determine validity G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. of customer deductions and determine appropriate action.
- Creates, maintains and distributes customer pricing and programming reports to the sales team and other employees to ensure all data in systems are accurate; notifies sales team of expiring system pricing.
- Performs monthly reconciliation for Accounts Payable (accrued liabilities for billbacks, CMAs, and other promotional allowances) and other GL accounts assigned within Blackline.
- Assists with month end raw materials reconciliation; provides support to Blow Mold facility to verify production and accurate recording of shipping and receiving documents.
- Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA and safety requirements, Federal/State/Local laws).
- Communicates with retailers and other employees regarding requests for information, programming, new items and pricing; supervisor and management team regarding any problems or issues.
- Maintains confidentiality of cost and pricing information, programming and other confidential information.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum – 2 Year / Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work
experience
Preferred – 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience
Years of Experience – 1 – 3 Accounting experience in manufacturing or CPG environment.
Computer Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; previous VIP, Great Plains and Document Management System experience preferred.

Skill in: internal G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. and external customer service.
