People Architects is partnering with a trusted client Oaktree Holdings to assist in the identification and hiring of a Financial Planning Associate to join their team.
**This role provides technical and client service support to Financial Planning Advisors, housed in a single-family office, who serve a high-net-worth family comprised of multiple generations.

Essential Duties:*
- Supports in-house and outside advisors through the full cycle of client relationships – from initial development of a plan to ongoing review meetings.
- Prepares and updates client personal balance sheets and out-of-estate balance sheets using eMoney
- Gathers data, drafts financial advocacy materials, and manages meeting notes and action items.
- Initiates and participates in research projects involving tax and financial matters.
- Assists Advisors with tactical client projects such as cash flow and retirement planning analyses.
- Executes retirement account rollovers, opening of new bank relationships, assisting with strategic bank transactions.
- Self-manages projects, maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues and reaching out as needed to prioritize.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Has highly developed problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Possesses good time management and has a proactive communication style to support advisors and clients.
- Presents information effectively and is able to respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
- Writes accurate and professional business reports, correspondence, and meeting notes.
- Handles basic and complex activities with the same energy and passion.
- Flexible with respect to changing work priorities, workflow and assignments.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and CFP or CPA designation
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Financial Planning, public accounting, or family office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel and Adobe Professional skills
Work Environment: Full time position in Family office environment based out of Valley City near Cleveland, Ohio. Currently working 1 day in office and 4 days remote.
