Accrete is looking for someone to play a role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the Monthly Financial Close Process:
- Take charge of ensuring the accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness of all monthly financial close activities in collaboration with the team.
- Monitor the progress of the close process and ensure efficient and sustainable task completion.
- Manage cash applications, data entry, and full cycle A/P.
- Assist with General Ledger Functions:
- Provide direct oversight and supervision of general ledger activities, encompassing corporate accounting, consolidation, retail, product margin, and treasury functions.
- Monthly Bank Statement Reconciliation:
- Ensure monthly reconciliation of all bank statements.
- Perform detailed reviews of account analyses.
- Assist with Audit Preparation:
- Assist in coordinating audit activities.
- Prepare for and facilitate the audit process to ensure a smooth and successful outcome.
- Drive Continuous Accounting Improvement:
- Spearhead efforts to continuously enhance accounting operations by developing and executing strategies.
- Focus on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability through policy, process, and system enhancements.
- Assist with Internal Control Development and Implementation:
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and documentation of internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with established control measures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of confidentiality and discretion in handling financial information.
- CPA Certification is a plus
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial management, with a focus on Payroll
- DCAA audit expertise.
- NetSuite Proficiency
Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000 base salary
