Our client, a family-owned outdoor living store in Lexington, is looking for an Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper to join their team!

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay: $55,000 to $65,000 per year
Responsibilities of Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper:
- Manage the company payroll using ADP Workforce Now
- Handle bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Manage balance sheets and invoicing
- Complete year to date and year end reporting
- Manage online banking for company
- In charge of 401K, estimated tax, W/C and Insurance
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements
Qualifications and Experience of Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper:
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting role
- AR/AP
- QuickBooks experience
- ADP Workforce Now experience
- Strong accounting background
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to multi-task
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
