We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to become an integral part of our team at Corporate Mechanical of New England! This person will be responsible utilizing standard department processes while focusing on customer and employee satisfaction. This position is located in Woburn, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls
- Greet Visitors
- Create envelopes & labels for the mail
- Open and sort mail
- Stamp (date) all invoices that we receive by mail
- Enter all construction invoices into Accounts Payable
- Front end collections
- File packing slips
- Give out purchase orders when employees call
- Type documents for project managers or other employees who need assistance
- Send out W-9's to those who request them
- Order and stock office/kitchen supplies
- Create Fed-Ex labels and schedule pick up
- File A/P paid invoices
- Add funds for postages when needed
- Update the Corporate Mechanical phone extension list
- Any other general administrative tasks that my be assigned
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of accounting /administrative support experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 preferred
- Positive can-do personality and ability to be forward thinking.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter who is resourceful and can think outside the box.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to be extremely flexible while managing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues.
