Summary
Computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by
performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Providing support to the Accounting Department.
- Performing basic office tasks, such as filing/scanning, data entry, answering phones, responding to emails
- Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- Processing transactions, updating, and tracking budgets, etc.
- Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assisting with month end tasks and running reports.
- Assisting the sales team and purchasing team as needed.

We are searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. Accounting Assistants can expect to assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with month end tasks, and preparing budgets and reports. Candidates should be thorough, accurate, and honest.
To be a successful Accounting Assistant, candidates should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel as well as to be expected to be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.
