Accounting Assistant

Century Contractors is currently seeking a highly motivated to join our team. The Accounting Assistant is responsible for carrying out administrative functions to support our accounting team. The position will directly assists with the accounting department's administration and day-to-day operations. This will be an office based postion. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: · 3+ years accounting experience for a construction company or equivalent · Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. · Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Assist Payroll Manager with employee expense reports, vehicle allowance, health insurance database · Other payroll-related responsibilities as needed. · Assist the accounting department with various tasks as needed · Working with Subcontractors to obtain W-9, certification of insurance forms and entering accounts payable invoices and related information into accounting software.
