Form of workThe Assistant Accountant's role is to support small accounting team in their ever-growing global business by providing world-class accounting, reporting, and operational support to our internal and external stakeholders in multiple countries.
We are looking for an accountant who immediately can assist us with mainly Excel tasks which includes:
- Preparing and requesting supplier payments in different currencies including coding.
- Review expense reports and prepare and request payments in various currencies.
- Support the team during the month-end close process (e.g. preparing journal entries, collecting supporting documents, uploading data to SAP).
- Prepare financial statement reconciliation files for internal audit purposes in the local and reporting currencies,
- Help in preparing payroll applications for different countries.
- Upload, sort and compile supporting documents to journal entries.
- Collect information in Concur for IC chargeback documentation.
- Ad-hoc requests during month-end closing.
Education and Experience:
- 2+ years' experience in practical accounting in a small company (GL/AP) (allrounder)
- Working experience in SAP ERP FI accounting modules (GL, AP) preferred or other ERP software
Skills and Attributes:
- Quick adaptation to EPRI International, Inc.'s business model and operations;
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities and open to an international business atmosphere.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.
- Self-motivated, independent hands-on mentality and effective work with minimal daily supervision to meet objectives and deadlines.
- Reliability, flexibility, curiosity, and strong teamwork skills.
