Accounting Assistant

LOCATION: Global Net Logistics, LLC 1001 Spinks RD ST 240, Flower Mound, TX 75028

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Manager of Accounting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform accounting and clerical functions to support Managers & accounting team.

• Performs filing of Accounts Payable documents in an accurate and timely manner.

• Perform clerical duties as requested

• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Incumbent will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time if requested by department management

• Process AP invoices for our carriers

• Perform research for payment inquiries from Carriers

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative office environment preferred.

• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Scan and Fax)

• Good team work abilities

• Good communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

SAP Experience highly desired
