```Job Summary:```

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant who knows Quick Books to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department by performing various financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and possess excellent math skills.

```Duties:```

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis

- Prepare and post journal entries

- Process payroll and ensure accurate withholding of taxes

- Assist with tax filings and compliance

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

- Assist with the implementation of accounting policies and procedures

- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies

```Experience:```

- Previous experience in an accounting role or related field

- Strong financial acumen and understanding of GAAP principles

- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Knowledge of Paychex or similar payroll software is a plus
