Accounting Assistant (Entry Level)(Full Time)

Down Etc is a fast-growing entrepreneurial manufacturing company seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant candidate.

We are an importer of high-quality bedding products and are looking for a candidate with some experience in Accounting. Candidates must be comfortable working in a small office setting.

Skills/Experience:
Outstanding in a majority of the following competencies:

• Computer Savvy – Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks
• Typing test - 50 words per minutes
• Responsible and organized
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Clerical fiscal record keeping and bookkeeping experience
• Customer Service Oriented
• QuickBooks Training/Experience is a bonus
• Customer Service experience is a bonus

Responsibilities and Abilities:

• General administrative assistance and data entry
• Deal with public and employees tactfully
• Maintain and organize digital and paper files
• Generate reports
• Collections
• Reconcile credit card statements
• Maintain confidentiality of information
• Adjust to changes in workloads and assignments and work under stress of meeting deadlines
• Assist Sale call if needed
