TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is NOW HIRING enthusiastic, highly detail-oriented individuals! As an Accounting Assistant, you will use your close attention to detail and knowledge of company finances to assist the Director of Accounting. This is a great role for those who are good with numbers and enjoy a deadline-driven work environment.
Duties/Essential Job Functions:
- Foster financial health throughout the franchise including accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, receiving payments, etc.
- Assist with month-end services
- Other QuickBooks / accounting / finance-related activities, as deemed appropriate by the Department Team Lead and/or Manager
- Assist the manager in providing a timely and quality month-end service for franchisees
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- QuickBooks experience and Xero experience preferred
- Strong financial analytical skills/experience required
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Technical aptitude and/or experience with integrated solutions a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (SKA) Required:
- Knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheet statements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening and organizational skills
- Adept in problem analysis and solving
- Possess attention to detail, initiative, and sound judgment
- Ability to be resilient and adapt
