Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial statement preparation.
- Manage and record vendor bills
- Reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Download credit card and bank transactions and properly code into our accounting system
- Work with the proper teams to ensure payment on aging balances
- maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinate and execute the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior management, highlighting key insights and trends.
- Manage cash flow, monitor financial performance, and make recommendations for improvements or corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including overseeing the preparation and submission of tax returns and related filings.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, assess their impact on the organization, and implement necessary adjustments to accounting practices.
- Manage the fixed asset register, including tracking additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
- Assess and optimize financial controls, systems, and procedures to minimize risks and improve overall financial operations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, cost management, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business initiatives, providing financial expertise and guidance.

What Will My Schedule Look Like?
- Days: You'll work a 5-day workweek schedule from 8:30 AM to 5 PM
- Job Location: In person at 120 Prairie Lakes Rd East Dundee IL
Do I Need Experience?
While experience can definitely be helpful, no experience is required, we are willing and able to teach the right person. If you are someone that can stay focused for long periods of time, good at following directions, and present an upbeat attitude you will succeed in this role
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Accounting/Finance/or business major
- Demonstrated history of consistently meeting and surpassing expectations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong aptitude for independent work and efficient time management
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $65,000.00 per year
