Accounting and Purchasing Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team as an Accounting and Purchasing Specialist. This role involves managing both financial transactions and procurement processes to ensure efficient operations within our organization.

Responsibilities:

· Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.

· Reconcile invoices and purchase orders with receipts and payments.

· Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and prepare reports as needed.

· Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial policies.

· Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and place orders for goods and services.

· Evaluate suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement.

· Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide support in sourcing appropriate products and services.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to Accounting and Purchasing activities.

· Assist with other Accounting and Purchasing related tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in Accounting and/or purchasing roles.

· Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.

· Previous experience in a similar industry or organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
