Job Description:
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, intuitive problem- solving skills and the drive to meet ever evolving organizational needs.
The Work:
- Fixed assets accounting & bank reconciliation.
- Assists with the planning, coordination and administration of general accounting activities of the organization.
- Prepares general ledger entries in conjunction with monthly closing processes and reconciles general ledger accounts.
- Develops analytical/departmental reports as required or requested. Assists with the development and administration of the organization's annual budget.
- Consults on the development, implementation, and management of strategies that advance the objectives of the business unit and the organization. Works with internal and external auditors to prepare for and facilitate audits.
- Ensures departmental and organizational compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies and applicable laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills preferred.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues, desire to learn quickly, and be flexible.
