Accounting Admin

Goodwill Talentbridge is seeking a temp to hire Accounting Admin for a premier client in Grayslake. This candidate should be comfortable working on a smaller team.

Shift:

1st Shift

8:00am-5:00pm

Monday- Friday

Pay: $22-$25 an hour

What you will be doing:

· Processes routine accounting transactions and runs corresponding reports

· Manages accounts payable processes and intercompany payments

· Processes vendor invoices for payment; including obtaining approvals and data entry of invoices

. Performs routine clerical functions as part of the administrative functions of the entire department

. Accounts Receivable Collections and invoice reconciliation communication to customers and suppliers

· Processes transactions and enters them into Epicor

· Follows processes and performs transactions with a high degree of accuracy

· Handles a large volume of basic transactions

· Assists Controller in processing more complex transactions and auditing work, upon request

· Contacts internal and external departments for required information

· Handles incoming inquiries via email or phone

· Processes all new customer credit requests by requesting trade references and follow up

What you bring to the table:

· Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables

· Critical attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows environment and Excel

· Experience working in the manufacturing industry

· Strong technical accounting skills

· Understanding of accounting principles/GAAP and workflow

· Excellent prioritization, organizational and time management skills

· Detail oriented and accuracy driven

· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company

· Flexibility, with the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team

· Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities

· Strong written and verbal communication skills
