The Role
Headlands Research is looking for a Centralized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This remote position will support multiple subsidiaries and will be supervised by the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist.
- Entering and coding of vendor invoices into NetSuite
- Prepare ACH/Wire payments to vendors and make payments via Vendor Online Portals
- Reconcile vendor statement
- Manage multiple AP Email Inboxes
- Process and track employee expense reports in Certify
- Certify User Management
- Collaborate with site management on invoice and expense approvals
- Credit Card Coding and Reconciliations
- Support miscellaneous reporting for the department
- Assist management with all vendor reporting, vendor management, and maintain vendor accounts
- Obtain Vendor W9 and very Vendor payment information, set up/manage Vendor Portals
- Maintain all vendor 1099s
- Track vendor credit requirements
- Develop ad hoc policies for AP-related subjects
- Customer service oriented, team player
- 2+ years of Accounting/Finance experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using QuickBooks, NetSuite, and/or other comparable systems
