Accountant/Financial Analyst

Position Summary
This role reports to the COO and works in coordination with the Controller. The responsibilities of an Accountant/Financial Analyst can include reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances, maintaining fixed asset schedules, preparing financial statements, and various financial analysis and reporting activities. They perform monthly analysis on balance sheet and income statement changes and assist with the design of budgets for review by management.
Duties & Responsibilities
? Assist Controller with the month-end and year-end close process.
? Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable.
? Preparing, validating, submitting and collecting client invoices.
? Maintaining sub-ledgers for all balance sheet accounts and reconciling to the general ledger.
? Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
? Preparing financial analyses and reports.
? Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
? Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditures.
? Assisting with annual audit preparations as needed.
? Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
? Assisting with the preparation of federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
? Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
? Performing other accounting duties and supporting departmental needs as required or assigned.
? Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience
? Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
? Experience in healthcare finance and accounting or similar in healthcare or healthcare-adjacent experience.
? Managerial/Cost accounting experience a plus.
? Experience in a startup or rapid growth environment desired.

Salary Description
$55,000 to $75,000/year
