SalaryThe Path Forward Return to Work program at Zoox is a 16-week paid returnship for experienced professionals returning to the workforce after taking time off for caregiving. The program is open to individuals who have at least 5 years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce for at least two years to focus on caring for yourself or a loved one. As the Accountant, you are responsible for activities related to accruals, payments, leases, accounts receivable, and system data validation. You are detail-oriented, responsible, reliable, eager to learn, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills. This is a new position due to growth and will be cross-trained among the team for flexibility.
In this role, you will:
- Review the accuracy of PO GLA coding and service PO accruals
- Work closely with FinOps by validating their consolidated accruals and preventing duplicate bookings
- Be the main point of contact for FinOps on accrual questions
- Work closely with the business application team and FinOps on unusual system bookings.
- Perform PO data clean-up
- Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Assist third-party vendor to file sales and use taxes.
- Assist manager in maintaining ASC 842 lease accounting complianceInitiate weekly and urgent AP payments
- Be the backup of other accounting matters if needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a similar degree
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control processes
- Microsoft Office suite and intermediate Excel skills
Bonus Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant work experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, team player, responsible, and ability to quickly adapt to changes
There are three major components to compensation for this position: pay, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The pay range for this position is $116,000 to $164,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The pay range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
