Job Summary and Qualifications

The main goals of the Staff Accountant Lead are to prepare accurate and well-defined account analysis and to support the operations of the Accounting department in compliance with hospital corporate policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Support & back up staff accountants, as necessary. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other, and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you. We want you to apply now!

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will maintain contract labor usage log hours in Kronos, reconcile to actual billing and record accrual at month end.
• You will maintain Fixed Asset System and capital schedules, which includes the reconciliation of Fixed Assets
• You will assist department directors and Administration with Capital Expenditure Requisition process
• You will ensure that all intercompany and intracompany accounts balance to the general ledger as well as to the other sister facilities during month-end
• You will at year end, gather all schedules and complete the assigned cost report and/or tax workpapers for review by the Controller within the established deadline

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree – Finance or Accounting
• 3 years accounting experience in a healthcare setting preferred
