JOB SUMMARY:
The experienced Accountant plays a crucial role in financial operations, including the preparation of reports, account reconciliations, ledger maintenance, tax return preparation, audit assistance, and general accounting duties. Success in this role demands a solid grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), proficient financial analysis skills, and advanced Excel proficiency. DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and EXPECTATIONS:
- Conduct financial analysis to inform accurate accounting entries.
- Contribute to monthly and annual close processes, ensuring timely completion of reconciliations, journal entries, and issue resolution.
- Aid in budget preparation and monitoring.
- Research and apply proper accounting treatment per GAAP and company policy.
- Maintain schedules and documentation for reporting and audits.
- Contribute to developing and refining accounting systems and procedures.
- Assist in process improvements and internal control enhancements.
- Collaborate with auditors during year-end processes.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings and account discrepancies.
- Coordinate departmental activities to meet daily and periodic goals.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and recommend accounting procedures as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
