Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper
We are looking for an Accounting Bookkeeper to perform daily accounting tasks that will support Tradecon Industries. Accounting Bookkeeper responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our databases and reconciling invoices. If you have an accounting degree or will be receiving a degree in accounting, or a related field, and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we'd like to meet you! Ultimately, you will help our Accounting Manager run their operations smoothly, as to ensure transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Accounting Manager with creating and editing financial documents
- Organize the bookkeeping process of the company
- Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses
- Reconcile financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Create and update expense reports
- Process reimbursement forms
- Prepare bank deposits
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases
- Check spreadsheets for accuracy
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
- Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
- Review and file payroll documents
Education
- High School Education (required)
Skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Must know QuickBooks & all applications with Excel
- Organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
