About the Position
Join our team as an Accountant, where you'll be a key player in financial management. Responsibilities include managing vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and participating in annual budget planning. Collaborate with external CPA firms, manage banking relationships, and support audits. The ideal candidate should have a solid accounting or finance background and will be responsible for daily AR/AP and banking relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Managing vendor payments and trouble-shoot invoice discrepancy
- Managing cash reserve and generating daily cash flow reports
- Performing general ledger account reconciliation
- Performing three-way match reconciliation on purchase cycle
- Planning on annual budget, performing cost control and generating variance report
- Managing banking relationships
- Working closely with external CPA firm to file a corporate tax return in compliance with IRS requirements and to prepare annual financial reports
- Supporting external and internal audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility and help develop/refine revenue accounting processes and procedures
- Any other responsibilities that the senior accountant assigns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field with a solid understanding of accounting principles
- Proven experience in vendor payment management and account reconciliation
- Expertise in cash flow management and reporting
- Knowledge of three-way match reconciliation
- Experience in annual budget planning and variance reporting
- Familiarity with corporate tax regulations and filing requirements
- Understanding of external and internal audit processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual in Mandarin Preferred
Job Type: Full-Time Onsite in NYC
Office Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 hours/day
Salary: Starting at $50k (all salary and packages are subject to negotiation based on professional experience level and skill sets)
