Full-time Accountant within our Accounting department. Normal working hours are Monday- Friday 8:00-5:00, hours could vary based on the needs of the clinic.
Salary is based on experience.

Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing the accounting and analysis for divisions of the organization. This includes developing, implementing and/or maintaining one or a combination of generally accepted accounting systems. Prepare and analyze financial reports, journal entries, maintain and reconcile ledger accounts. Provide record of assets, liabilities and other financial transitions.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performing basic accounting procedures, e.g. A/R, A/P, G/L, tax payments and inventory control
- Preparing financial statements, e.g. monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Month-end and quarterly closing (divisional income statements, physician productivity statements, and company-wide income statement and balance sheet)
- Analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts and investment transactions in conjunction with preparing monthly reports for management
- Assisting with the annual financial and 401K audits by assisting with the liaison functions of the department
- Communicating with divisional managers and shareholders regarding any financial statement’s questions
- Conducting variance analyses to explain fluctuations in financial data
- Assisting with budget preparation and providing analysis
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting, including revenue and expense projections
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
- Producing financial data for management team upon request and assisting with other special accounting projects from time to time
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required.
Experience:
- 3+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or similar work environment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience with accounting software and general ledgers
- Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
