Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to help us filing tax. The Accountant will be responsible for tax advice & consultation, tax compliance reviews, and tax planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in filing taxes for us by April 15, 2024.
Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and answering inquiries
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation
Experience:
- CPA Required
- Proven experience in public accounting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation and interpretation
- Experience with account reconciliation and financial analysis
- Understanding of small business
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
Note: This position will work for tax work by April 15, 2024 and we're happy to work with you next year again based on quality of work. We may have few zoom meeting or in-person meeting.
