Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date bank registers, ensuring no detail goes unnoticed.
Record daily financial transactions, from income to expenses, with meticulous attention.
Classify and code financial data swiftly and accurately, leaving no room for error.
Handle intercompany finance transfers seamlessly, ensuring smooth financial operations.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses that drive strategic decisions.
Generate regular financial reports for management, providing crucial insights into our financial health.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts with precision, leaving no stone unturned.
Monitor and investigate discrepancies promptly, ensuring financial integrity.
Assist with month-end procedures to ensure a seamless financial close.
Process inventory adjustments efficiently, keeping our records accurate and up-to-date.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Serve as a backup for general AP and AR functions, stepping in when needed.
Review monthly benefit invoices for accuracy and changes, ensuring compliance.
Prepare monthly motor-management billings and quarterly discount calculations, contributing to our financial efficiency.
Clerical Responsibilities:
Manage company credit cards, ordering new ones and terminating old ones as necessary.
Process incoming credit card payments via online terminals, keeping our cash flow smooth and steady.
Ad Hoc Projects:
Contribute to special projects and initiatives as required, showcasing your versatility and adaptability.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, setting the foundation for your success.
Three years of prior experience in an accounting or finance role, with a preference for experience in Accounts Payable and industrial services/sales.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, along with familiarity with ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with an unwavering attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration.
Adherence to ethical standards and integrity in financial practices.
The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a culture of success.
Physical capability for prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, with the ability to lift 15 pounds at a time.
