Accountant

LifeSource Water Systems, California’s dominant residential water treatment company, is seeking a highly motivated Accountant.

To be successful in this position The Accountant must have the ability to complete projects in a timely and accurate manner. Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to work under firm deadlines. The primary job function will be to assist the accounting team in processing Accounts Payable, maintaining Accounts Receivable, month end closing and analysis, and record filing.

What you will do:

• Review and post daily GL and AP batches.
• Assist with AP as needed.
• Accounts Receivable customer balances review and clean up.
• Monthly review and reporting of AR Aging and Customer Deposits.
• Month-end close journal entry posting and preparation.
• Month-end revenue analysis.
• Keep accurate bookkeeping of multiple projects to ensure that information will be immediately available when needed.
• Business licenses renewals.
• Filing and organizing of files.

What you need:

• A positive, can-do attitude, with a high level of confidence in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Must have excellence in Excel data analysis proficiency.
• Be a team player who appreciates a positive and motivating culture.
• Must have exceptional communication skills and be proficient with computers.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail a must.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
