We are looking for someone who has at least three years experience as an Accountant and is familiar with the following job expectations. This is a remote position and is based around normal business hours Monday through Friday. This position requires the applicant to be based in or near Austin, Texas.
We are looking for the right person to work alongside our Accounting Team in day to day tasks who is honest, self-motivated, and has incredible attention to detail! Some of your responsibilities include invoice management, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, sales tax monitoring, and producing accounting reports. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and be excited by Excel!
Responsibilities
Provide administrative, clerical and accounting services to Accounting Department
Prioritize and process payments of employee expense, vendor invoice and sub consultant bills on a weekly basis
Coordinate timely quarterly and annual managerial reports and regulatory filings
Corporate credit card reconciliations for all current card holders in accordance with accounting principles and company policies
Provide assistance and support to other company personnel as needed
Maintain strong communication lines with all vendors and internal staff to facilitate reconciliation errors or oversights
Experience
Proficient experience with Netsuite
QuickBooks and Microsoft Office experience required
Three years in relevant financial environment minimum
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other business-related major is a plus
Self-starter, skilled at multitasking and able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate accurately and clearly
Able to work well under pressure, establish priorities, and meet deadlines
