SalarySpherion Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our client, a leading engineering consulting company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks and supporting financial operations.

Record day-to-day financial transactions and post to the General Ledger (GL). ...
Assist in creating ad-hoc financial reports as needed.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes and tax reporting.
Create reconciliations, billings, and transaction records.
Obtain and manage vendor W9 forms.
Process credit card expenses, including coding and data entry into the accounting software.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Skills:
6+ years experience preferred.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accountant.
Strong understanding of accounting, finance, or related discipline.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Expertise in QuickBooks online.
