About This Position: The Account Representative position will be responsible for maintaining current accounts, adding new accounts, promoting company products & services, and attaining sales goals & forecasts for exclusive assigned territory.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Work with sales staff to develop account relationships and new leads.
- Learn to sell all features of assigned lines of business.
- Follow fiscal sales and marketing plans.
- Promote company services and products to customers.
- Recognize and react to territory trends.
- Maintain and service current account base.
- Maintain accurate account records.
- Travel to make sales calls to accounts and regional trade shows.
- Meet and communicate with Regional Vice President.
- Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned by Regional Vice President.
- Work with sales staff to develop account relationships and new leads.
- Learn to sell all features of all lines of business.
- Other duties as determined by the needs of the business
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to understand and apply sales concepts
- Ability to understand profit margins and forecasts
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Must be able to travel on company business
