POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for the managing and overseeing all aspects of an account or group of accounts assigned by management. This position maintains existing accounts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account Management
    1. Oversee fleet management programs and communicate to fleet accounts on ways to enhance efficiencies.
    2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationship to include providing excellent customer service to existing accounts by staying in touch, immediate follow-up and resolving issues.
    3. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
    4. Grow Sales and Service Revenue with assigned Accounts at rate of increase in line with the Store Budgets. Identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts and collaborates with sales team to ensure growth attainment within these accounts.
    5. Consistently maintains a weekly Sales Route for all assigned accounts.
    6. All Product delivered must be billed within 48 hours, and all Work orders turned in daily.
    7. Resolves high severity requests or issues escalations as needed.
    8. Manage a group of customers by servicing and selling recommended products and services.
    9. Increase sales revenue by penetrating current customers and internal growth in that account.
    10. Obtains Monthly and Annual Gross Profit Goal.
      • Goals may increase or decrease with Tire Manufacturer Price Increases or Tariffs.
    11. 60 Day Inventory Turns on Customer Bandag Retread Inventory.
  • Service (less than 20% of time)
    1. Completes limited service work.
    2. Assist store with obtaining monthly service quota.
    3. Operate air compressor, impact gun, hub-cab hammer and other various machines and tools in a safe manner.
    4. Maintains vehicle cleanliness and mechanical maintenance, and ensures vehicle registration, insurance, safety and OSHA.MSHA materials and devices are up-to-date.
  • Reporting/Data
    1. Forecast and track key account metrics: CPM, CPH Revenue and Inventory.
    2. Complete and provide NRT reporting for Key Accounts.
    3. Forecast and track key account metrics – CPM, CPH Revenue and Inventory.
    4. Manage and maintain monthly and quarterly inspections for all assigned accounts.
    5. Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, discount rates and makes recommendations for marketing and sales programs.
    6. Complete Quarterly inspections for all assigned accounts with BASys and YTRACS.
  • Store Support
    1. Helps Develop service personnel in stores for efficiencies and redundancy for coverage.
    2. Completes service orders; process tickets, invoices and bills out customers, verifies credit status of customer, makes billing adjustments, initiates purchase orders for parts, assist with updating information on the computer and maintains records/files for follow-up.
    3.     4. Serves as a coach to store teams and other sales team members.
    5. Supports Company safety and operational standards and adheres to all audit requirements.
  • All other Duties as assigned.

Training Requirements:
  • Complete online manufacturer training – Milestone and Yokohama Exceed
  • Other Training as needed and required for business needs (MSHA, HazWhopper, etc.)
  • TIA training requirement completed on:
    • Industrial Tire Safety
    • Farm Tire Safety
    • Earthmover Tire Safety
    • MSHA training

QUALIFICATIONS – Unless indicated otherwise, these are preferred
  • GED or High School Diploma Required.
  • A valid driver’s license (required) and insurable driving record (required).
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality is required and is an essential job function.
