and managing relationships with existing customers. The Account Manager will collaborate with
management, estimating and engineering during the course of assessing, defining and pursuing sales
opportunities. After a sale, the Account Manager will transition the project to engineering. This position
will report to the VP of Sales. Five years or more sales experience in Industrial Automation or robotics. Hands-on engineering
experience in design, programming and commissioning automation systems is a plus.
The Account Manager’s responsibilities include:
• Maintain and strengthen the company’s relationship with existing customers
• Search for new customers within our target markets and technologies
• Respond to assigned leads from our web site, vendors, direct contact and other sources
• Stay current on our common technologies, applications and industry trends
• Create and implement plans for each assigned customer
Candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:
• Degreed engineer – Mechanical, Electrical or similar discipline
• Five years or more sales experience in Industrial Automation or robotics. Hands-on engineering
experience in design, programming and commissioning automation systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Team oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills
Travel is estimated at 30% - 50%
