The Account Manager is responsible for aligning Streamline Scientific Laboratories’ products and services to the needs and objectives of our clients. This position will also be responsible for supporting Sales Representatives in all aspects of client retention.
- Act as a scientific liaison between clients and laboratory staff.
- Assist with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, and other queries.
- Manage individual account details per company protocol.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for each account.
- Manage account supply needs.
- Ensure lab results are sent to clients per company protocol.
- Coordinate incoming sales lead from outside Sales Representatives.
- Coordinate and schedule Technical Sales Team presentations with accounts.
- Support inventory management and order processing.
- Perform additional clerical and other duties as directed
- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
- Scientific-based Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Professional business attitude, appearance, and demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a busy office environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
