Gallo is hiring at our South Carolina facility! We are seeking an Account Manager for Business to Business Customer Service!
Job Overview:
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Hybrid - In office mandatory Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Work From Home Tuesday and Friday
- You will be responsible for meeting superior customer service expectations by promoting sales, service and supply chain activities for internal and external customers for assigned territories or responsibilities. Ensures that inventory requirements are met while delivering complete support that drives customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates all product movement, invoicing and other related functions for customers (distributors, internal and external departments, sales and marketing) and regional distribution centers.
- Manages all aspects of incoming customer orders and inquiries regarding the organization’s products and services.
- Functions as the customer’s single point of contact; coordinates activities with multiple internal departments to minimize customer stock and service issues.
- Responds efficiently and effectively to internal and external customer correspondence through telephone, email or formal written communication.
- Manages customer needs with a strong sense of urgency
- Researches and resolves all customer mis-shipments, damage claims, product quality issues, and product transfers (to include tracking, reporting, and root cause analysis).
- Supports business units and supply chain and customer initiatives.
- Manages customer systems set-up to facilitate customer ordering requirements.
- Manages tasks specific support functions to meet customer needs (e.g. railcar optimization, and deployment planning, inventory reconciliation shipment planning and execution).
- Participates in training new customers (onsite-site visit or remotely) on how to utilize the winery ordering system.
- Understands organization policies, customer service standards products and services.
- All interactions must comply with organizational policies and customer service standards.
What You Will Need:
Master’s degree plus B2B/B2C customer service, account management, logistics, finance, retail sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of B2B/B2C customer service, account management, finance, logistics, retail sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of B2B/B2C customer service, account management, logistics, finance, retail sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $28.99 - $43.44 /per hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
