The Role
Lumivero is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive the expansion of business within our largest and most visible higher-ed customers. The Account Manager is a strategic member of the Go-to-Market team, responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction within our key account portfolio.
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Account Management, the Account Manager - Academic Markets will be selling at the most strategic level within each account and implementing a broad strategy for revenue expansion. You will work closely with client success, marketing, and product teams to maximize the value of each relationship.
This is a challenging role that will test your sales skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and resilience.
More specifically, you will:
  • Act as the primary relationship manager and liaison between key customers and Lumivero.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to maintain client satisfaction and trust to expand the footprint and introduce new software products and increase wallet share.
  • Identify and size revenue opportunities by account, roadblocks to expanding or retaining revenue and facilitate with internal teams to build winning strategies.
  • Define a relationship strategy within each account.
  • Provide summaries to management regarding revenue opportunities and risks, and any product feedback or insights from our top clients.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years’ work experience as a Strategic Account Manager or Key Account Manager successfully growing and retaining higher ed accounts in a SaaS environment.
  • 5+ years of consistent and demonstrable achievement as a “Top Producer” in past quota-carrying roles.
  • Effective strategic communication with all levels of the client organization, with a focus on driving relationships and action, from end-user to C-suite.
  • Natural ability to present complex topics in a way that is simple and easy to understand.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity to uncover why buyers will buy and how to leverage that information. 
  • Proficient working with Salesforce.com, Virtual Meeting software (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.), and MS Office products.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Graduate of formal sales (Challenger, Solution Selling, etc.) programs. 
Salary 
  • $70,000 - $80,000 annual base salary. 
  • Approximate OTE is $175,000.
