Job description

SUMMARY
As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in assisting the company efforts to up-sell and grow our current and prospective customer base while working closely with Sales and the incident response teams.
Our consultants must be comfortable working in teams to tackle challenging projects, communicating with clients, and creating and presenting high-quality deliverables.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive retention and growth among our most valuable customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed.
  • Maintain a cadence of communicating with customers about their adoption trends, sentiment, and mining opportunities for deeper engagement.
  • Identify business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new business post-Incident Response.
  • Provide sales forecasting and accurate reporting needs to Arete Management
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Insurance adjusters and Business analysts to develop selling streams and revenue opportunities for the company.
  • Partner with Sales to create winning proposals and presentations.
  • Be a subject matter expert on our business segments and processes regarding post-IR sales.
  • Provide insights to customers to ensure that they get the most out of the platform with the aim of helping grow our customer base.
  • Assist in development of sales metrics, training, team growth strategies.
  • Gauge customers' levels of engagement with the company and provide feedback to our internal teams regarding product and service improvements.
  • Demonstrate a passion for Arete, its mission, and its customers is necessary.
  • Management of internal programs or teams.
  • Capable of completing technical tasks without supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills.
  • Support a mentorship culture by encouraging and providing knowledge sharing, counseling, and training to internal teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate and foster a positive work environment and attitude.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative and detail oriented.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to grow and expand technical and soft skills.
  • Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships, while working to mitigate churn and drive engagement and renewals/up-sell.
  • Experience utilizing a CRM and/or Project Management tool for documenting sales efforts and communicating status/timing of post-IR activities (Preferred: HubSpot and PSA Mavenlink)
  • Comfortable in a startup environment we move quickly and wear many hats in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to partner with customers to deliver predictable outcomes and experiences for their clients and predictable growth for their business.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Post-IR, Marketing, Services, Technical teams, etc.) Impressive executive presence and communication abilities
  • Must have the ability to drive adoption and outcomes leading to customer renewals, expansion, and advocacy across your customer portfolio.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • BA/BS or MS degree in an IT, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, customer success, account management, business development, or another client-facing role

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • No physical exertion required.
  • Travel within or outside of state.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with Arete salary and benefit policy.
FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY
Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
