Account Manager

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, leading the charge in client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic sales planning. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client relationships through face to face sales meeting on all assigned accounts to ensure client retention while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement sales plan for accounts to achieve specified revenue and margin goals
- Understand client problems and challenges while looking for opportunities to offer, sell and implement transportation solutions that they do not currently have
- Develop account specific growth plans and metrics to track success
- Collaborate with sales team to ensure customer needs and company goals are met
- Identify opportunities to connect customer with other services that the company offers to improve their network and drive revenue
- Ensure that all customer requested metrics are adhered to exceed client expectations
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent related work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Management in Transportation or Logistics industry
- Solid customer relationship management experience and skills
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to make decisions
- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow up skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self starter with the ability to get work accomplished with urgency and clarity
- General knowledge of transportation or logistics industry account management
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
