The Role and What You'll Do:
HWA is seeking an Account Manager who will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the day-to-day management of Speaking engagements, serving as the liaison between Speaker's office and organizations. The Account Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating all details associated with the execution of the Speaker's appearance leading up to and at the time of the event. This person must be detail oriented, a proactive problem solver, organized with a professional demeanor and collaborative personality.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of a speakers' event, including interfacing with the Speaker's office, the hosting organization, other account team members, and appropriate agency departments to support the engagement.
• Manage relationships with the Speaker's office and develop a strong knowledge of their guidelines and protocols.
• Assist the hosting organization contacts in the strategic development and implementation of event details related to the Speaker's participation.
• Develop and follow project timelines from Speaker's acceptance of the engagement to the event date.
• Manage the approvals process on behalf of the Speaker's office, for both event logistics related items and marketing/announcement materials.
• Interface and coordinate with internal teams across various processes leading up to the event execution; including accounting and contracts.
• Track and compile relevant travel expenses in coordination with vendors and internal accounting.
• Provide thorough briefing materials for Speaker's office.
• Interact with and provide day-to-day communication for both speaker's office and hosting organization.
• Have the ability to understand and communicate the implementation of contractual terms.
• Provide and incorporate general insight and industry best practices.
• Facilitate smooth communication and teamwork within multicultural teams.
• Provide internal post-event recaps and briefings.
• Given the nature of live events and travel, work hours may extend beyond traditional office hours. Responses, or a confirmed response plan with other colleagues, during weekends or evenings may be required.

A Candidate for this role will have:

• A minimum of 4-6 years client-based servicing and/or events management experience. Specific disciplines could include event logistics, travel coordination, executive support for high level VIPs, and communications management.
• Ability to manage day-to-day relationships with clients, agency and vendors.
• Experience with on-site event marketing operations and logistics.
• Experience with working with internal teams (accounting/business affairs) as well as other agency partners.
• Superior client relationship/service skills.
• Strong ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Ability to problem-solve independently and work collaboratively in groups.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
• Understanding of Social Media platforms is preferred.
• Proficiency in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other video conference platforms.
• A positive, problem solving attitude and ability to respond to time-sensitive situations with ease.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Range Minimum:
$66,375 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$88,500 annually
