Account Manager

The Account Manager is accountable for forging, fostering, and maintaining accounts for Ascends wholesale business. The ideal candidate has an exceptional grasp of the cannabis wholesale landscape, is able to garner positive relationships and delivers world class customer service to Ascends clients. They will curate strategies to reach and exceed revenue targets by identifying, prospecting and connecting with opportunities in the market.

Location: Chicagoland, Remote with ability to travel

What You'll Be Doing:

• Plan, and execute a comprehensive wholesale roadmap that aligns to company growth strategy within the assigned territory of IL
• Achieve monthly revenue targets
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with wholesale partners and prospects
• Identify new business opportunities, pitch, and manage negotiations for new wholesale partners and evaluate existing partners
• Acts as the primary point of contact for customers
• Target new markets/regions for expanding wholesale
• Ability to develop effective relationships with decision makers
• Conduct pricing, cost analysis
