Job Description
SUMMARY
Executes sales strategy, initiates contact with existing and potential customers, identifies their needs, sells and delivers appropriate products or services to meet those needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Majority of your time is spent in the field traveling to the customer's place of business servicing and delivering products.
- Travels throughout assigned delivery territory and deliver and prospective customers sales orders in person.
- Ensure MOC products are planogramed in each location, set up properly, dusted, tagged with appropriate incentive sticker (where appropriate) for ease of use by customer.
- Maintains enough merchandise to properly service each assigned account to avoid back-orders.
- Ensuring MOC supplied machines are in safe working condition, clean and maintained with all necessary adapters. Alert Senior AM with any non-working machines for repair and or training.
- Reports all daily activities using the company supplied tools (e.g., call and daily log reports).
- Communicates all completed delivery invoices to the corporate office on a daily basis.
- Compiles lists of prospective customers by product line to your Senior AM for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Develops additional product sales opportunity by line of business 1) Service Drive, 2) Reconditioning 3) Ancillary/Shop Supplies 4) Technology, closes new business, and interacts with existing customers in assisting Senior AM to increase sales of the organization's products and/or services.
- Develops and maintains relationships with all key managers and subordinate workers within the assigned customers.
- Performs daily inspections of delivery vehicle and ensures truck is neat and clean as well as all maintenance and safety requirements are met.
- Control Truck Inventory. Performs weekly inspections of product inventory to ensure that there are no inventory discrepancies.
- Meets or exceeds company-set quotas and delivery product goals.
