Power your future with GridBright, a Qualus Company as an experienced and motivated Software Portfolio Sales Professional! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the utility industry, initially to sell into the emergency management space, but with the ability and interest to broaden to sell a portfolio of utility software offerings. The ideal individual will be pivotal in driving sales growth for our growing software solutions portfolio that empower utility companies to respond to and manage their realization of energy transition objectives. This individual will leverage their industry expertise and sales acumen to identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, incorporating a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends.
- Generate leads through various means, including networking, industry events, cold calling, and digital marketing. Qualify prospects based on pain points, Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline criteria.
- Effectively communicate the value and benefits of our software solution to clients, coordinating product demonstrations to address their unique requirements and concerns.
- Collaborate with the product development and customer support teams to provide customer feedback and ensure alignment with product enhancements.
- Maintain and update prospect information in Salesforce CRM. Maintain an organized sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent communication with the product and software development team.
Qualifications : - Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the utility industry selling software solutions. - Established top management-level relationships at major IOU US utilities. - A deep experience in the utility sector, including regulatory requirements, emergency management practices, and emerging trends. - Proven results in complex sales situations utilizing consultative selling, lead generation, and closing high-value deals. Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills are essential. Proven experience in needs analysis, product positioning, and messaging is required. - Seasoned sales qualifying skills enabled by excellent voice and video communications capability. Ability to communicate technical concepts and their impact to both business and technical buyers. - Exceptional relationship-building and client management skills, with the ability to foster trust and credibility. - Must be proficient in sales engagement models, selling methodologies, solution engineering, and modern presentation tools. - Willingness to travel is required - A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, but extensive, directly relevant work experience will also be considered.
