Overview
The Account Executive’s goal is to drive the success of our Audit Efficiency Program (AEP), a groundbreaking initiative that streamlines the auditing process for MedTech suppliers and their clients. This individual is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers while also driving the sale of upcoming and completed audit reports.
What you will do:
Supplier Acquisition and Relationship Building:
- Identify and target new suppliers, showcasing the benefits of the AEP program
- Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential suppliers, positioning Cannon Quality Group as a trusted partner
Client Engagement and Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies to successfully sell shared audit reports to the clients of participating suppliers
- Collaborate with marketing to align sales strategies with promotional activities, ensuring a cohesive approach
Collaboration with Marketing
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand the market landscape and contribute insights for collateral creation
- Participate in the development of email marketing campaigns and social media posts to amplify the AEP program's reach
Entrepreneurial Drive and Self-Motivation:
- Demonstrate a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to take ownership of the AEP program's success
- Exhibit self-motivation to contribute innovative ideas and strategies for continuous improvement
General:
- Monthly creation of Sales Forecast Report, Sales Pipeline Report and review with Management
- Create and submit Weekly Activity Report including Proposals Delivered, SOW’s Delivered, Meetings Held and Meaningful Conversations
- Attend weekly meeting to discuss Sales Forecast Report, Sales Pipeline, Monthly and Year to Date Sales Report and help needed to address client risks and revenue opportunities
- Attend company meetings and participate as appropriate
- Learn technology required to be successful in role including, but not limited to Google Suite, HubSpot, Slack
- Notify Management when key client personnel leave the client where there may be an opportunity to create a new client relationship. Assist in successful relationship transition.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Qualifications:
- Proven new business development and account management experience
- 3-5 years’ experience working with emerging/small companies in the Medtech/Medical Device Industry
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executives level
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of new business sales experience with consulting/services background desirable
