Job Description
SHADOW is currently seeking a candidate to fill the Account Executive role in its Fashion & Retail Division. The ideal candidate is a proven leader, excellent writer and communicator, and has a rich understanding of and appreciation for the Fashion & Retail industry. This is a mid-senior level position for those with 2-3 years' experience strategizing and executing impactful communications campaigns.

Leadership: You must possess strong leadership instincts and the ability to inspire, galvanize and drive the teams underneath you. You must have tangible supervisory experience and embrace the challenges that come with uniting and leading a team.
Results: You have a proven track record of feature placements across multiple outlets and genres of media
Communications Skills: You have superb written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to connect with clients, employees and partners with confidence and conviction.
Connections: You possess real relationships with influential journalists across top-tier media platforms. You must have already earned credibility and respect from the media.
Knowledge of Cision and Fashion GPS
What You Do:
Write Press Materials: You are responsible for generating all the written assets and press materials on behalf of a client. This includes press releases, media alerts and client bios. You must already know the industry standard format for such materials, and know how to convey key points within each respective asset.
Understand the Industry: You draft competitor analysis and trend reports for clients and must understand the landscape on their behalf. You are responsible for relaying the findings, and incorporating the insights into strategies and proposals for the client.
Pitch: You must generate extensive media coverage both nationally and regionally, across pring, broadcast and online outlets.
Manage & Lead: You serve as the account lead on at least one account and assist supervisors with their management responsibilities as well. You must ensure that value is being produced by your teams at all times, and that all client requests are being fulfilled and delivered on time. This includes reviewing every agenda and report that the client receives, and being accountable for the work and message conveyed therein.
Innovate and Ideate: You take the creative lead on client activations, developing mailers, pitches, events and initiatives that will make a splash and garner the kind of market attention the client is seeking.
Annual Compensation (commensurate with experience + benefits)
- $60,000-$65,000
