Form of workWTTW (Chicago PBS) and WFMT (classical music radio station) are looking for an Account Executive to generate revenue through the sale of WTTW and WFMT content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate revenue through identifying and securing radio, tv, digital, and print media sales with WFMT & WTTW.
• Establish deep relationships with client organizations as well as advertising agencies.
• Develop multiplatform strategic sales strategies, plans, and proposals.
• Execute CRM entry of all client activity in Tessitura.
• Work closely with continuity manager and traffic department for fulfillment of media contracts.
• Represent WFMT and WTTW with the highest integrity, as one of Chicago's leading cultural institutions.
• Collaborate closely with Director of Sales and cross departmentally.
• Assist Director of Sales as needed.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Passion for public media, the arts, and classical music.
• Broad knowledge of marketing, advertising, and media sales.
• Confident negotiator and exceptional communicator.
• Creativity in drafting sales/client packages.
• Ability to effectively multi-task.
• High level of organization.
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office.
EXPERIENCE:
• 5 years media experience required.
• CRM experience preferred, with Tessitura a plus.
• Sales account management experience.
• New business development experience.
• Financial reporting experience a plus.
• Non-profit knowledge and experience a plus.
EDUCATION: College degree preferred.
